Happy BIrthday Tandi!!!!!!

Tandi turned 3 on Saturday!! I can't believe my baby is three. She had a fun little party with family. She told me she wanted a Tinker Bell cake and after going to Walmart to see that their Tinker Bell cake was 38.00 I decided to make it myself. It was a lot of fun!!

She is still in love with her princess shoes. Instead of wearing my high heels she finally has her own.On Sunday we went up to Heath's parents to celebrate all the March birthday's. Tandi is the only girl.

LOVE

I Know it's been a really long time since I have blogged. Life has been pretty busy. I really can't say exactly what we have been up to! Just Life!! We are remodeling our bathroom and that has been fun! I will post pictures of that when it's finished. We also have done a lot of skiing this year. Parker learned a a few weeks ago and he is a natural. He loves it! I looked at my camera and these are some of the pictures I have taken in the last month. As I was looking I noticed that they are all about love, or the things I love most. My Family! This month I have really thought about what I have! There is so much love in my life. I hope you see that in these pictures. I am truly blessed! February is a perfect month for Love!

Christmas Day

Oh how I love Christmas! We have been so blessed this year and Christmas is such a wonderful way to end the year. I love Christmas with my kids. It's so fun to watch their eyes light up Christmas Morning.

Parker and Tandi sitting on Tandi's new table and chairs.

She just sat and stared and this doll for like 5 minutes.
Parker got some legos and vtech stuff.
I got spoiled this year. My hubby suprised me with some brand new ski's, boots, poles, and snow pants. I just need some good snow so I can use them. After Christmas at our house we went up to the Aplington's for some more fun!
Check out Tandi's cute slippers from Grammy and Grampy.
Parker got some kind of nerf gun shooter.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve at the Merrill household is always fun! We had our little Nativity! The kids did a great job! Parker loved being Joseph again. Tandi was a wise woman.Mary riding the Donkey Cliff. Here is some of the clan.Opening presents.Parker and Tandi doing some dancing. Parker brought his keyboard so he could play his Jingle Bell song. Then the kids sang some Christmas songs. Tandi just stared the whole time.

Sunday Party

Every year we go to a party at the Armstrong's. We do the usual nativity story. But this year was a little more interesting. Parker was Joseph and little Presley who is only one got to be Mary. It was very entertaining. We also did Talents. Most of it is Piano playing. I am sad cause I didn't get a picture of Parker playing Jingle Bells. It was his first time playing in front of people and he did a pretty good job!
Then what made this here especially different then the other years was an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest. This is what Heath wore. Pretty Sexy!!This was the top six winners! Clayton on the end won because of a sweater he was wearing in a old picture. It was ugly!

Santa and Christmas Tree Poses

I Always like to take a picture of my kids in front of the tree in their nice Christmas Sunday Dress.

We went to the mall and decided to pick two Tree Angels to buy gifts for this year. The kids loved picking out the toys for each kid. Afterwords we let them go see Santa. Parker knew he wasn't the real one. He said his beard was fake and he wasn't real friendly either. Maybe he doesn't get paid enough. But all in all we had a great time and will try to do this every year.

Salt Lake City

Last weekend we went on our annual family trip to Salt Lake. We had a great time as always. We did a little shopping and a lot of eating. It was just nice to be together and enjoy the pretty Temple and lights. We also went to the spoken word. How exquisit!

BYU GAME

A few weeks ago Heath and I went to the BYU/UTAH Game. What a fun time we had! We were worried that it would be way too cold. But it was a pretty nice day. I had never been to a BYU Game and I couldn't believe how big the stadium was and how many people were there. Nate and Jen came with us as well. Nate had a friend who played previously for BYU. That's how we got the tickets. He was able to get Heath and Nate down on the field before the game. Nate and Heath are in the middle with the grey hats on.This was taken after BYU won! It looked like a swarm of ants going after a few crumbs on the ground.
