Tandi's Pretty Earrings

So I finally got the guts to have Tandi's Ears pierced. I have been wanting them done for quite awhile. I just kept putting it off and I was a little scared for her. But I am glad their done. Luckily Meghan Heath's cousin was in town and she came to the mall with me. When we first got in there Tandi would not hold still for the lady to mark her ears. The lady tried to talk me out of doing it and then Meghan suggested holding her and maybe she would do better. Well she did a little bit better. And thank goodness it worked. She screamed a little loud and cried for a few minutes. But has been happy ever since. Oh the things I put my kids through! She has no idea what's coming.Tandi crying right after. I felt so bad for her.

24th Parade

On Saturday we went to the 24th Parade. It was fun because Heath and Parker were on a float. Parker loved throwing candy and squirting people with his squirt gun. I have to say this parade out does the 4th of July parade by far.Heath and Parker on the float.Marley, Tandi, Piper, Boden, and crazy uncle Zach in the background.

Girls Camp

I am the secretary in Young women's and I love it. This last week I went to girls camp for two days. We all had a blast! I got to know some of the girls better. I sometimes feel like I am a young women. I think I will always be young at heart. This picture is a little crazy. This is right after we played OOGGA BOOGA! Heath says we look like men. I laughed so hard that night I almost peed my pants.

Swimming Lessons with Grammy

Parker has been taking swimming lessons this summer. Heath's mom Lisa has been teaching him and he loves going. At first he was a little hesitant, but he has already improved so much. We are so grateful to have Grammy for a swimming teacher. She does a marvelous job!

Happy Fourth!

We had a fun fourth. It was a busy day. We first went to the parade and afterwords we went and purchased some fireworks. Then later we went to my aunt Renae's and the kids went down their ginormous water slide. Then there was the BBQ and fireworks. What a memorable day it was!

We had a BBQ at our house and some of my family came over and our friends the Johnson's. We had our own little firework show as well as all our neighbors. We also got to watched the fireworks from our backyard. It was fun except we forgot to bring out the radio.

This was at the parade. Here is my Grandpa Merrill holding Tandi.
