First Family Campout Of The Year

I really love camping! This is the first time we have been out this year. It sure felt good! We went to Island Park and stayed at the campground Sawtelle. It was quiet and we were basically the only campers there. I think it's because there was still snow in some places. That didn't hold us back. The weather was okay for the most part. Except it rained most of Sunday. The kids still had a blast.
We also got to celebrate my Mom and Dad's 35th Wedding Anniversary! It's nice to see them still in love after so many years. Our family is close because of them. Thanks Mom and Dad for your devotion to each other and our family! Here is Tandi looking for some fish. The girls had a good time playing girly stuff together! While the boys went hunting for bears and lions.

This is my brother Zach and his girlfriend Jessica. We were glad they could come for some of it. Since the pool was inside we did a lot of swimming.

My kids

Tandi is at such a fun age! She is starting to know what she wants and nothing else matters. She want s to do everything by herself which can sometimes be hard for me. One thing in particular is getting into her car seat. She hates it when I pick her up to put her in. She will throw a fit until I get her back out and put her down so she can do it herself. She loves to color and draw. She loves to wear her tu tu every night over her PJ's. I love this picture! Parker is growing up before my eyes. He is now done with preschool and misses it. Mostly his friends. He has learned so much in this last year. It amazes me! He loves his little sister. They fight but then they make up fast. He will even play dollhouse with her. Their favorite thing to play together is camping. They will pack up all their toys and play food and play for hours in their rooms. It's real nice for me! I love this picture of Parker because the other day he came down stairs with a comb in one hand and a spray bottle in the other. He said "mom i just saw myself in the mirror and my hair is a mess." I had to laugh. It reminded me of a story Heath's mom told me of when he was little. She said that every morning before he did anything he had to have his hair combed. Father like Son!

Mother's Day

Yesterday we went up to Sharma's house for some yummy dinner. I wish I would of took some pictures of Heath's wonderful Mom and his Nanny. They are amazing women! I am especially grateful for them because they have helped Heath become the person he is today. I'll have to get a picture of them later. It was so nice and sunny yesterday. This kids loved playing outside.
This is Shannon and her adorable, kissable daughter Preslie.

Tandi couldn't keep her hands off of her.
Okay that's enough Tandi! She is such a doll!

Mother's Day

I love celebrating Mother's Day! Mother's are so special and deserve this extra attention on this day. On Saturday we had a BBQ at my house with all my family. It was nice to see everyone and to thank all the Mother's in my life for their example and love. My mom is one amazing gal! She is always thinking of others and is a wonderful mom and grandma. Bringing our family together is one thing that she makes a priority. She is so special that Parker decided to give her one of his nice toy cars. I should of took a picture of that is was so sweet! Here are some special mother's in my life. My grandma Merrill, Mom, Grandma Hartley, My Sister. This second picture we had to put Jen in. She is a wonderful mother and sister in law. The kids had a great time playing outside!
My dad took the kids for rides on his Motorcycle.

Jen took this picture. I love it!

This is what I get to experience everyday!

My kids are so fun! I never have a dull day. Tandi is into dressing up and thinks she is bootiful! I love this little outfit she had on the other day. The Dorthy red shoes and the winter gloves just pull it all together. This morning it was getting late and Tandi hadn't woke up. I told Parker to go wake up Tandi so we could get her ready. A few minutes later I walk into the room to see this. These two are so cute! Parker is the best big brother. I know he will take care of his little Sis. Especially when he is a Senior in High school and she is a sophomore.

Party With Some Good Old Friends

Since Becky was in town and we were way over due for a friend get together, we had a fun BBQ at the church. (Thanks to Jason and Heather for planning it). I love the fact that even though we have been out of High school for eight years, we always seem to get together, and we all have such a great time!!! I hope this continues. We also had most of our hubbies there and three other kiddos who aren't in the picture.

What a hard week!

Poor Tandi! She has had a hard week. First of all I took away her Mi Mi(Binky). Which was really hard for me to do. It was so easy to put her asleep with it. So taking that away you can imagine how bedtime and nap time went. Each night has gotten easier. Although last night I thought was so easy. She only cried for about 5 minutes. Later I went to check on her and she was fast asleep with a fake Binky in her mouth. It belonged to her my little pony baby. Oh well! Then the picture from below is from last night. I just got her out of the tub and dressed in her pj's when I hear her screaming and Parker laughing. I run into the bathroom to see this. Apparently she was wearing my high heels and somehow fell into the tub. Poor little thing!! I hurried and got my shoes out of the tub but made her stay while I ran to grab the camera. (What a mean mom). Well I had to blog about it right?

Easter Sunday

I love this first picture!!! Parker had just put his arm around Tandi and I love her facial expression. These two kids of mine are the greatest!!! I hope all of you had a wonderful Easter Sunday. We had a fun weekend as you can see from all of our pictures. I know I get a little carried away sometimes.
