Tandi's big girl bed!

For Tandi's Birthday we decided to get her a bed. I waited to put her bed up because I was waiting for her bedding to arrive. I think it goes good with her room! Tandi loves it! I also love the fact that she gets excited to take naps on her soft bed. That crib mattress was really hard.

I still have to finish decorating that wall above her bed.

A little bit more!

I got some more pictures from our trip. These are right in front of the St. George Temple. It was so bright that day that my eyes would water when I looked at the Temple. I love this picture of my family. We are all there (all 17 of us). Here is the cute little grand kids!Swimming in St. George.

2nd part of our trip

We decided since we drove all the way to St. George we might as well go to Vegas and so that's what we did. Here we are at the Luxor. From left to right is Heath, Me, Parker, Cory, Marley, Boden, Leslie, Koen, Tandi, Patti, Piper, Zach, and Cliff.

Our next stop was the Shark Reef in Mandalay Bay. Tandi was a little worn out as you can tell.It was amazaing to see all the animals. This was the kids favorite part of the trip.We met up with my cousin David and his family. Tandi is holding hands with their cute little girl Ella.It doesn't show what Heath and Parker are looking at but it is a huge Shark. After the Shark Reef we walked down to the M&M factory. Here we are in front of Excaliber where we stayed. It was nice and relaxing. We were able to go swimming for an hour, I wish we had one more day. Then later that night we wanted to see the water show in front of the Belagio. It was so fun to watch. Afterword Parker said, "that was totally cool mom!"My sister and I. Of course we needed a picture with cute little Marley.

This trip was a blast. I'm so glad that we were able to get away from the freezing cold weather. It's a little depressing to come back to snow on the ground.

1st part of our trip

We had an exciting week. We had a lot of fun, but a lot of traveling in the car. For the first part of our trip we went to St. George. It was so nice to be in warm weather. We went there for my cousin Todd's wedding. The first day there the guys went golfing while the girls took the kids to the park. Then the girls went shopping while the guys took the kids swimming. The sun was shining and our kids were in heaven! I think they were in need of sunshine just as much as I was.We stayed at a condo that was so nice. The boys loved to play in the closet.

The best entertainment of the weekend was my parents. Here is my mom using her Nety pot
and my dad using his snoring machine.

I just love my Mom and Dad!!!!!!!!!!!

Tandi's Birthday!

I still can't believe it! My little baby is already two. This weekend we had a nice party with family. They came over for some Princess cake and ice cream. I wish I could say I made the cake, but Costco is my best friend these days. I thought it turned out cute! My favorite is the fat frog prince. She was excited all day to have her party. She kept saying "It's my Birthday!"Her and Piper are only 9 months apart and they are such great buddies! Opening presents was fun to watch! She thought that she needed to give her presents away, so each time she got a present she would open it then give it to someone else in the room. Making sure everyone had a present was her top priority. How generous of you Tandi!Sitting with her girl cousins!
This girl just brightens the room. My grandma Hartley told me the other day that I am pretty lucky to have this girl sent to me. That is the truth!! I love her so much!!! There is just something about her big brown eyes that melts my heart. She talks so plain and well. She is saying full sentences and her vocabulary is more like a five year old(maybe that's because her mom loves to talk so much). She loves her big brother and loves to do what he does. Even if it means jumping off the couch or putting a train together. Heath and I are truly grateful for this beautiful girl. We hope that we will always remember her at this age. We also hope that she will stay this sweet! We love you! Happy Birthday Tandi!

Who's sleeping in that chair?

Tandi did not want to take a nap before church yesterday. She kept climbing out of bed and finally she shut her bedroom door. I just assumed she was playing with her toys. Well I went in to check on her and this is what I found. Goldilocks sleeping in her chair. What a sweetheart! I just love looking at my kids when their asleep. Parker and I happened to be wearing matching shirts, so of course I needed to take a picture.
