Becca's first Dance

This is Heath's beautiful little sister Becca. She turned sixteeen this year. And today was her first Dance date. I was so excited to go help her get ready. She is the little sister I never had.

It's about time!

I was a blonde, curly haired, bouncy, goofy, cheerleader. I was a freshman at the good old Alameda. My main concern was my friends and If my so called boyrfriend was going to write me a note that day.

5) I drove the coolest car ever in high school. At the time i didn't think it was so cool. It was a Pontiac Grand Am like 30 years old and 30 feet long. The outside was jungle green with matching interior. The seat would buzz until the driver and passenger would buckle up. Some good memories! Sorry dad I made you sell it.

Fold your arms

It was about a week ago and we were getting ready to say prayers and Heath said fold your arms. And I looked over at Tandi and she had her arms folded. It was so sweet. So I had to get a picture of it. It is so cute because she is starting to immitate things that I do. Like talking on the phone or waving bye bye. My little girl is growing up. It makes me sad and happy too. I love this blogging stuff because I will look back and remember the cute things my kids have done.

Sledding Adventure

Parker has beeen asking Heath and I for months to go sledding. So we decided today would be a good day to go. The Briscoe's came too. We had a great time other than the wind started to blow towards the end.Heath and Parker getting ready to go down. The little girls got cold so they watched from the car.

Happy Birthday to Lilly & Stacy!

What a great day February 1st was. I get to share my birthday with my cute little niece Lilly. I had a great time just being with family and eating yummy cake.

Parker's Bedroom

I thought that since I posted Tandi's room, I should show Parker's. Since He loves to show anybody that comes over his room. I haven't done a lot to it. I just painted the Navy blue stripe all around.

Tandi's New Room

Ever since we moved I have been dreaming of how I was going to do Tandi's room. With my sister Leslie's help we got the job done.

I made these curtains. It took me a long time to sew on each ribbon. But I think it turned out pretty cute.

Binky Face

Now that Tandi knows how to stick her Binky in her mouth she likes it best upside down. I just had to take a picture of it.

"I broke my lip"

So yesterday Parker was coming down the stairs and slipped and fell and broke is Frenum (the flap of skin between your lip and gums. OUCH! He was pretty tough about it. He bleed for awhile. I'm just grateful no tooth popped out.

Parker was so cute Christmas morning. I think this year he finally caught on to the whole Santa Claus thing. Well the the night before, We did Christmas at my moms so he had already got some presents. So the first thing he says when he See's the presents was "Santa came again." It was so funny! He was so excited.

First we have Megan our newest addition to the Merrill family then Marley, Tandi, Lilly, Piper, Boden, and Parker. As you can see we are a little lop sided we need some more boys.

Then on the Aplington side we have Maggie, Parker, Libby, Ashley and little Tandi in front.

O' Christmas Tree!

I had to take a picture of these two in their nice Sunday clothes in front of the Christmas tree. Parker is so excited to open his presents on Christmas and to see what Santa brought him. He wishes the big tall present behind the tree is for him, but it's not. I love this time of year! We have tremendously been blessed this year. There have been a lot of good changes. For one Tandi's birth and also moving to our house. We are looking forward to talking to uncle Zach on Christmas Eve.
